I would like to purchase travel insurance SPECIFICALLY to cover the possibility that due to the intermittent closing of the Polish/Ukrainian border (and at times, other borders) by protestors, my daughter misses her flight. We live in Ukraine but due to the war, need to fly out of a second country. Polish protestors have been closing border crossings (occassionally even passenger vehicles). Other times the crossings take excessively long to cross. Which travel insurance should I buy to cover this reason for cancellation?
Unfortunately, Trip Insurance that offers coverage for the non-refundable costs of your trip are only available to US residents who begin their trip within the US.
You would still be able to take Travel Medical Insurance to cover the unexpected medical costs of new injuries or illnesses should they occur during your travels.
